Last weekend was an amazing weekend of God showing up all through out the cities! We had 5 different food outreaches which were able to serve so many different people in need. We are so encouraged how God is expanding the bread ministry as well the food outreaches around the church as well as in the cities. The more we give out, the more God gives us back! It really works!

During last Sunday ministry time, a woman was prayed for struggling with night terrors. They really felt God breakthrough with her right then, and something happened where she suddenly understood that through Christ she could take authority over the tormenting fears. A week later and no night terror's all week, not to mention that's the first complete sleep she's had in five years or so (wow). She said that on Tuesday night she started having a bad dream, and woke up and had her husband ...

Walmart is one of the places we love to do outreach!! We love to do all sorts of Power Evangelism and Walmart is an enviroment where lots of people are around. This night was a good one. One lady in particular said she had pulmonary disease, and when they began praying for her she exclaimed, "Oh my gosh! I don't know what that is, but I'll take it!" We also prayed for another sweet lady that shared how her son lost his wife recently. So as we prayed she just thanked us over and over... it was ...

Sunday's Women's Shelter Outreach was truly a day of change. As the women got their hair cut and nails done there was a buzz in the air. One woman after receiving a new haircut began to cry. When asked why she was crying, she responded by saying, "she said it had been a long time since she looked so pretty!" One man who owns beauty equipment heard what we do and brought all sorts of hairdryers and curling irons many of which the women didn't have. So many stories of impact. Reaching out ...

It was so great as right when we got there there was a group of Hispanic men who unloaded the truck for us and also helped us set everything up. They said they want to be picked up next month to help us load the truck and help with the outreach. This is a huge answer to prayer as we were just talking before we left how we wanted to pull in the community to help us with this outreach and ...

Remembering that God is always interested in healing the whole person is important for us to remember, but also good to be reminded that healing takes place in so many different ways. Remember to let us ...

A couple of weeks ago, one of the girls in our Sunday School class (Ages 1-6) asked her mommy to come into her class during the prayer time to pray over the other kids. We all shared together and had our story time, then the little girls mommy prophesied over each one of the kids. She said she saw them all as musical instruments and as she prayed over each child, the Lord showed her more about each of them. It was a very powerful time and the kids really saw how special each of them are to ...

Its so amazing to see how God gives vision to people for things, when we wait for him to be the one to innitiate things. For a while now, we have been praying for benevolence and outreach with the poor, and we are starting to see these things play out in our church.
One example of what we're seeing is a thing called Bag of Hope. A woman in our church felt like she was supposed to make bag lunches with a special note on the napkin, for the homeless in L.A. Her and her sister made the ...

Last week a few of the girls met a young girl, prayed for her, she got saved, and filled with the Holy Spirit- She even fell on the ground & didn't even care! • The testimonies keep coming in about the conference..
• On Saturday, just before the outreach- 3 young kids received Christ. One of the kids later said, "This is the best day of my life!" yeah God!
• The outreach's were amazing--we hit [4] main shopping areas that the YLV is really after for God. We had over 150 just in the outreach alone- where people got healed; and one of the best things is so many did outreach for the first time.
• So many people said ...

Saturday we had a church outreach and went to the Brea Mall to pray for people. We've been doing these types of outreaches for about a year now, and they never get old. Over and over again we see amazing healings and people's hearts being touched. And all it takes is simply stepping out, taking a chance, talking to people you would usually just pass by, and letting God's heart be your heart. We prayed before we went out together, got words and pictures, and went to see who it was those ...

Again, and again, we hear wonderful testimonies about what God is doing among us. Its so important that we are sharing these things with eachother, to be reflecting on and remembering and going after the things that God is sharing with us! It is a key to staying alive!
One of the men in our church went to an A.A. meeting a few weeks ago, and saw a woman who was using a walker and special shoes for walking. He thought about all of the testimonies he's heard, and about the ...

Its been really exciting to see how much God is doing in each individual in our church. But one of the most encouraging parts, is what the Lord is doing among the children. Over the last year, the Lord has been taking our childrens ministry through an incredible growth and learning time. And surely enough, our children have grown in their walk with the Lord on such a grand scale, its amazing. The children have their own worship time on sunday mornings, and during those ...

As I reflected and sought the Lord for 2008 I believe one of the words I got was for us is to make Love our greatest contention for His Kingdom, His will and our personal Holiness. I believe The Lord is saying as we trust Him in all things and seek His kingdom first His heart is for us to do it with a greater measure of purposeful love, chosen love and deliberate love for one another then we have lived in the past. The time of the north winds has come. The winnowing fork of the Lord is passing through this nation. He is separating the chaff from the core of the weatherd. This will happen for a time and half-a-time when the outer wrapping of the world is being removed from the kernels of the chosen. The Holy Spirit will be the protection in place of the temporal sheathing around the core. The effect of the world's influence will be diminished as the Spirit peals away useless layers.

They seem too big, but I am going to beef you up a little. I am putting you in places to exercise your gifts of faith, your gifts of healing, your gifts of prophecy, your gifts of teaching and your gifts of worship. Here's the deal, I have already given you these and I will grow you into them. They will ...

Today we were filled with many great words from the Lord. He is clearly using more of us each week to give us His guidance…everyone uniquely gifted by Him.
We were shown that, by His grace, we are released to be intimately bonded to Him.
He also encouraged us to leave our unwanted "baggage" behind and move ahead with Him.
He gave another beautiful image of being in His presence.
That we are His favored children and He ...

Today was a day of celebration. Watching our young church, just over a year now grow with so many new people has been amazing to watch. One of the greatest things unfolding is how many worship leaders our church is gathering. We love the fact that so many have been learning, or picking their instruments up for the first time in years. From our small beginnings from having a few willing worship people- to now 8 worship leaders that we are enfolding into different areas in our church. ...

It's amazing - when our church started we had only 1 young adult - then 2-in fact we had 2 for most of the year. We have been praying for God to move in this area - these 2 young adults began getting vision from the Lord about starting a group - so together we prayed about how it would look - the first week there were 12 young adults - some unsaved, many not filled with the Holy Spirit---yet. This last week - there were over 20! The Lord is coming in so much power in a way where you ...

Today we had the Nicholson- who pastor a Vineyard in the Chicago area come be with us- Steve spoke, and the Lord really stirred some people regarding prayer. One of the things we value and will continue to value in our church is having people outside of our community come to share and speak into us as a church. After that Christy took some of the leadership team to a conference up to Redding, Ca for a conference. It was good for those that had never been before; it spoke to us again, ...

When the church started, we only had a few people that could participate in leading the church in worship. Over this last year we now have 8 different worship leaders leading at various groups during the week. But another wonderful thing that God is doing is that he's been giving songs to some of the worship leaders! Signs follow us, and one of the signs we know God is moving amongst us is that the songs follow. It's happening and it's been a great blessing to our church!

I saw a fire ball (like a meteorite or something) blazing down, and it came from heaven. It was the power of God. It came to just in front of the stage in the center, but it stopped outside on the roof area. It just hovered there. It was waiting to come in. It waited for desperate cries to the Lord.
Patty later told me that she saw a Lion standing outside of the front doors. The lion didn't come in. Instead it said, "I stand at the door and knock."
