This Sunday we taught the kids about how God is our Shepherd, all the things a shepherd did and understanding God as our Good Shepherd. After talking through many of the things a shepherd does, including the use of the staff and why he would carry oil, and so on, we read Pslam 23 together. We got to verse 5 where it says God anoints my head with oil and one of our first graders says "I can feel God putting the oil on my head". We didn't plan for the oil to stand out in this ...

It was a great night tonight for our young Spiritual Leadership class! We had a fantastic visitor who came to speak into our lives and it really challenged as well as encouraged us as a group..This group of leaders God continues to grow and move into areas of reaching the lost...epic.

We had an opportunity to celebrate with Rose Drive Friends Church this Sunday as they celebrated 50 years in our community! We took a team of 15 volunteers to serve in the Nursery and Preschool departments so their entire church family could come together and rejoice in what God has done amongst them these last 50 years. Thank you Rose Drive for letting us come and be a part. We are thankful for your commitment to Jesus and His purposes in our community.

Child S.H.A.R.E. met for the first time in our Resource Center on Saturday evening. We are blessed to be partnering with such a necessary, resourceful ministry. It was a great start to all that is to come as they continue to support, encourage and equip foster families in Orange County. Get the word out to any foster families you might know or anyone interested in becoming a foster family, 1st Saturday of the month they meet.

We had a great all nighter. Watched the Passion Of The Christ, played dodgeball, and stayed up all night. We all had a blast and it's a great start for our High Scoolers just to hang out and fellowship.

"We served about 70 hot dogs at the Park. Very sweet Spirit in the park, maybe the weather or it just being Spring, but people seemed just happy to be out and about. There is a small church of young people who meet there every week, very sweet group. We have built a relationship with the Pastor and his wife. The young people do worship in English and Spanish. It really does bring God's presence to area!"

Our outreach to our city last night was so amazing! God gave us words on what to pray for and where to go as well as who to look for... and God came and ministered to so many! Yesterdays Outreach that offered screenings for Stoke/Heart protection went absolutely amazing! It was non-stop flow of people coming in to be cared for. We loved what a great resource this group is for our communities and we look forward to hosting these again!

Incredible opportunity we had these last several months to host everything for preparation for the Fiesta days event. It had an amazing turnout, much larger than prior and the day was a massive success. Thursday nights gala to to celebrate Birth Choice was incredible. Pastor Christy was a special guest and was able to meet many of the people that support and are a part of the larger picture for BC. Our new clinic at our Health Center that will offer the clinic to save unborn babies will be opening soon!! This morning during kids worship as we were telling the kids today we especially wanted to tell God how good He is in our worship one of the girls shouted "God isn't just good, He is excellent!". Then one of our 6 year olds started singing the chorus of "How Great is Our God" and the other kids just joined in! Beautiful worship, right from the kids hearts!

This month we had more opportunity to pray for those in need. It's been great! We had an elderly couple who was staying in a hotel as they were trying to get into senior living. The man was in n out of hospital. We prayed and loved on them. They were in tears and grateful. So much need out there!

What a great day at the park! Lot's of families came and had lunch, who doesn't like a hot dog bbq with some chips. Really cool to see people gathering in the community. One family came, mom and dad with grandma and kids, the dad says we have more ketchup and mustard at home. I told him not to worry about it and that we wanted to serve then lunch. Then I noticed his wife had disappeared with a couple of the older kids. About 15 minutes later she should back ...

So far... so good! Our Monday & Tuesday night groups have been gathering to pray over everything for Fridays recording... Last night was so amazing to have two of our home groups gather for worship and then intercession. To watch 50-60 people interceed for the worship team as they rehearsed was just plain awesome!! We have such an amazing Church!

This last weekend we held another training for our SOZO prayer teams. As this continues to grow God has been amazing in sending people that have such a heart but also anointing for prayer ministry. We love this as we've taken prayer model from the Vineyard over last 30 years as well as some steps from the SOZO prayer model and combined them with our values.... the fruit is amazing!! look for next opportunity to serve in this area....

We held our monthly outreach to Placentia park, which is one of the places we head out to, taking groceries, BBQ supplies and prayer teams... This was a fantastic time of meeting others from local Churches where we were able to encourage them and also minister to so many! This is a great way to learn how to to reach out... We prayed for a gentleman today [who is Catholic] and said he has tried everything for his back for many years to get better, but nothing has worked. So a few months ago he came in The Warehouse, and said he was so desperate, he finally asked for prayer...He came & told us today that it has been the only thing thats ever worked! He then asked if he could do 'confession' as he hadn't confessed his sins for 50 years. Really incredible what we get to be a part of!!

Successful April 21st Airsoft! All had fun, some new kids learned how to play, and no one was injured! We changed it up and played indoors. We weren't sure how it'd turn out, I mean it almost sounds dangerous. But with some creativity it was better than we had hope! Our Jr Highers loved it so much that they have requested we do it indoors again next time.

Each Friday the Resource continues to be serve so many. We have several teams now working with the Bread Box, which is where bread gathered from each day of the week is separated & sent off to many many places of need. From shelters to retirement homes to businesses, every time we give bread away, we seem to get more! Also The Warehouse is packed with workers and those in need. We have around 20 people serving at The Warehouse on Fridays, and we need everyone! Amazing how God is caring for ...

As we began 2012 the Lord has been confirming His word for this year. The Lord has us praying for our youth from Psalms 91 and the fruit has been amazing! He has also been reminding us to pray into our kids, youth leaders and workers to what the Lord is planning to release to our kids this year. God is faithful to meet us right where we are with exactly what we need, and how He loves to use His children! This week one of our 4 year olds interrupted her Mom persistently telling her to "read this" and her Mom turned around to find her standing there with the Bible opened to Psalm 57. "When I read that i just knew that God wanted me to read it and it was something I really needed to hear and it amazed me so much that the Lord used my daughter to show it to me."

Yesterday when Christy mentioned knee problems, specificaly about pain on the inside of the knee, that described my pain exactly. So I received prayer and through out the day my knee was feeling better, I slept great all night..no pain waking me up, and this morning (mon.) no pain at all....PRAISE GOD!!!

A group from all over the US as well as New Zealand and Australia joined us as we headed Walmart for yet another outreach. We broke up into groups of 2-3 and walked down the various aisles of the store asking the Holy Spirit to lead us to the people He wanted us to talk with.
We prayed for one woman who has had brain cancer for 15 years. She has had 3 surgeries and had just had an MRI that very day. Her daughter was getting married in September and all she wanted was to be around long enough ...

This week we delivered groceries to a few families in need. One in particular that needs your prayer for healing. Not only are they burdened with financial struggles, both mother and son have been diagnosed with cancer. The son is going through weekly treatments of chemotherapy. Please pray for healing and financial breakthrough for this family.

Every other week we go to Sunrise Retirement Home and worship those who reside with the Alzimers and Dementia ward. We are truly blessed with the life and joy each time we go. This past week Derek, Tim, Nikki and Kyden had an opportunity to be a part of this outreach. Kyden, who is 8 months old, stole the show once again. Everyone always loves seeing his sweet face. The Placentia Park Outreach was a great success! We had some Spanish speaking voluneers added to our team this month and it was fantastic! Tonight marked the night of yet another successful Treasure Hunt in Walmart.
We started off the night by spotting a word that was on our list; sports section & the color red. We arrived at the sports section and our eyes were blasted with the color red...there were three people all wearing red shirts on one aisle! We prayed for a man that attended a local church whose wife was headed to Uganda the next day for a mission trip. We were able to bless the man and his wife and pray for her ...

A group of us went on over to Walmart a few nights ago. We had some people on our team who were experiencing a Treasure Hunt for the first time.
We were able to pray for several people in the ailses of Walmart...
One man and one woman received prayers of blessing over themselves and their families.
Another woman told us about her son who has cancer. We were able to pray for her and her son and asked for healing from the cancer. She continued her shopping a little more encouraged.

Today's Mothers Day Tea Outreach was off the hook! Over 80 women gathered who brought their moms, grandmothers and daughters & we had an amazing time! The raffles for the baskets that were so incredible was super fun- but the food, and we mean lots of food, sweets and tea was done brilliantly! Yesterday was the His House Christmas Outreach. This is the Women's Shelter we minister at every 6-8 weeks and this year we were able to take Christmas photos for their families. Again, this outreach is such a huge honor and really every time we go, it changes us!

Again we had a table for giveaways at the annual Yorba Linda Main Street Christmas! We gave out 1000 cookies, over 500 notes of encouragement and tons of hot cocoa, apple cider and so much more--the feedback was again so amazing. So amazing all God did yesterday! In the midst of the blood drive and our other outreach to the boys class for Christmas, one of our donations backed out and we were short almost 20 turkeys! Truly amazing-- in this short period of time we received full dinners for the boys class we get to serve each week. These are full Christmas dinners to over 30 families. This last week we had a few of our leaders visit the boys class called, Kitchen's Kids. Every Monday we have various food and snack items taken to this class to feed the boys]. In sharing about this outreach, Sydney Wright shared how grateful and encouraged the kids are that we notice their need. During last Sunday ministry time, a woman was prayed for struggling with night terrors. They really felt God breakthrough with her right then, and something happened where she suddenly understood that through Christ she could take authority over the tormenting fears. During our leadership testimony time last night, one of our leaders shared that after she had knee surgery last month and in recovery, hasn't been able to walk well, and was prayed for and it got really hot, and was instantly healed! No more pain either! Yeah God!

Walmart is one of the places we love to do outreach!! We love to do all sorts of Power Evangelism and Walmart is an enviroment where lots of people are around. This night was a good one. Sunday's Women's Shelter Outreach was truly a day of change. As the women got their hair cut and nails done there was a buzz in the air. One woman after receiving a new haircut began to cry. When asked why she was crying, she responded by saying, "she said it had been a long time since she looked so pretty!" Today we held our food outreach to Placentia. This time we loaded up twice the amount we took last time! It was so great as right when we got there there was a group of Hispanic men who unloaded the truck for us and also helped us set everything up. Over the last several months a lady in our church has been taking our extra bread and now food to a boys class that has much need. She noticed that many of the boys came to class hungry so she began taking the food to them every Monday. We held our first prayer time last night specifically geared towards those in financial hardship personally and with their business. It was so good. It was so encouraging to hear so many crying out to the Lord together. Today was only our second food outreach to Placentia. The same area we feel called too bring God's Kingdom too! First time we fed 40, this time were we able to give 130 families groceries! Great story of healing! just out the other night one of our elders was with a family that has a young boy. The young boy was coughing non-stop and very hard to where he started to bleed out of his nose.. So the man told the family he was going to pray for him right then & in laying hands on the boy- he was instantly healed! Yeah God!!

One of the great testimonies was that for 2 years in going to this area to hand out lunches & minister to the people there has been one lady in particular that has been very distant. This last Saturday, she actually came up and asked for prayer! Pastor Tim shared how a few weeks ago he & Nic drove to Arizona to pray for a family member that was full of cancer.... They shared when they were there that they knew the Lord was calling them to go. A week later after a full body scan the guy came out totally healed of all cancer!! Yeah God!

Virginia saw an older man outside her window at our apartments who was having difficulty standing-- he was almost fainting. She asked Norma to go outside and ask him if he was allright. Norma first hesitated but then went out and asked him if he was alright. Last weekend was our last 24 hour prayer time! Some of the words that came out of our time together again is so amazing! Ministry time was amazing. I got a chance to pray for a guy and we saw his leg grow out like 3/4 of an inch. Gorden spoke over me right after it happen and gave me a short prophecy about how I was going to be doing a lot of that. It was pretty awesome.

Norma and I went to get the bread on Friday morning and I told her that I wanted to take some bread to the men at Lakeview waiting for work since it's the holiday. When we got to the area we noticed that some of the men were carrying a bag of groceries. I saw that the bags said 7/11 and I said to Norma that Chuck was there with the 7/11 bags. So they got a double blessing on Friday.

Wonderful things are happening with our kids! During worship at church many of the kids are seeing visions and getting words of healing for each other. A few Sundays ago the Holy Spirit came in such power on the kids that they began seeing angels and feeling Gods power touching them... One of our young men received prayer at the Young Adult group last Thursday. He has had chronic ear infections and problems with his ears for years. In fact, he talked about a surgery he wants to have to fix the bones in his ears. He said that it especially is painful after he swims he can feel the water in his ears... Well, since Nov. I started a regular Street Outreach and it has been going great. Last week one of our leaders, George, lost his young cousin who passed away from a seizure. It was a huge blow to the family as it was a tragedy that could have been adverted if he received treatment. Instead no one got help and unfortunately he passed. We're off & running with the Lakeview Outreach. This week when the team went back they remembered and were so glad to see us. We're taking bags of groceries and offering prayer. Each time we've gone the Lord has multiplied our food, and the incredible thing is... we've just had enough bags! Want to come? Let us know. For sure we can use food items that cannot perish.

Mike and I went with Mindy to Placentia -Ross. Mike found a man in his 80s (wearing a Navy cap) who he spent quite a while talking to and blessing....the man and his wife had just moved to an apartment in this area from another part of the state, and they know no-one. Today was so good. In driving on Lakeview here in Yorba Linda, I noticed how many men were waiting for work. Yesterday there had to be a few hundred. So today we took out 30 bags of groceries, but the amazing thing was when we went over there today, we had enough to give all the men a bag of food. We also got to pray for them! It was so good... Next Wednesday we will again go back... The Lord is showing us the need, and its been so fun 'getting to play.'

We're back from Ohio & Minnesota! We started in Cleveland, then onto Toledo, and ended up in Duluth, Minnesota. The time was really amazing, with lots of hungry people desiring to experience 7 encounter the Lord. We have some great Vineyard churches out that way, and cool relationships we've made through out the years. Oh my gosh! I can't even tell you how good God is! My lawyer asked me to draft up a proposed schedule of visitation. Last week we held 3 outreaches throughout our cities. We had our first outreach in down town Fullerton, where worship & handing our donuts to the homeless. One man that received prayer, the Holy Spirit came so strong on him, he couldn't even move! We then had this amazing opportunity to encourage and bless people all around us at the YL Christmas Main Street party. What an amazing testimony! Last week we headed down to our Wednesday night group in Cerritos, led at the housing community center. A woman there had lost her sight about 4-5 months ago. We prayed for her, and there was a lot of power--- but she only said she felt different. After we left she began to see clearer and was able to see people! A woman in our church who has had a history of heart problems as well as heart surgery, let us know a week ago that she was having problems again, and feared that she would need another surgery. She was taken to the hospital and was very scared. We sent out a church email to make sure that everyone knew to be praying for her for healing. A couple of weeks ago, one of the girls in our Sunday School class (Ages 1-6) asked her mommy to come into her class during the prayer time to pray over the other kids. We all shared together and had our story time, then the little girls mommy prophesied over each one of the kids. Awesome this week! Some of the young adults have been ministering at their school's and at the Orange Circle-Sharing Jesus and praying for people! Last week a few of the girls met a young girl, prayed for her, she got saved, and filled with the Holy Spirit- She even fell on the ground & didn't even care! Saturday we had a church outreach and went to the Brea Mall to pray for people. We've been doing these types of outreaches for about a year now, and they never get old. When the church started, we only had a few people that could participate in leading the church in worship. Over this last year we now have 8 different worship leaders leading at various groups during the week. But another wonderful thing that God is doing is that he's been giving songs to some of the worship leaders! Christy took a few of the young adult girls to do a conference/retreat in Ft. Myers. Church Service-During church in the morning, the Holy Spirit fell in so much power! An earthquake shook our building a few times and in the midst of it, following- 2 people were saved, and worship broke out! Our baptism last Friday night [24th] was amazing! We had 43 people come, 8 people got baptized. One kid got saved; we then baptized him right away! I saw a fire ball (like a meteorite or something) blazing down, and it came from heaven. It was the power of God. It came to just in front of the stage in the center, but it stopped outside on the roof area. It just hovered there. It was waiting to come in. It waited for desperate cries to the Lord.

12 year old boy- struck by car. Christy went w/Rosanna to see Tanner & his mom, as he is now at home. At a business meeting the last weekend, one of the ladies said she was seeing spots, and was told she had some spots on her brain. Patty had shared that Dustin had collided with another boy at school, broke his nose. Met him at the hospital, she prayed, nothing happened. Prayed again, and each time the pain left more, and the nose straightened out! We're seeing some great breakthrough in healing! We're going after more! Week before one of the women at church prayed for a man, encouraged him to pray for the sick. This week we had our US National Vineyard conference to where we invited some of our pastor friends throughout the country for good southern BBQ. It was a great time to see everyone, but also we took a bit of time and some of the kids and others prayed for various leaders. Darcie took some of the kids down to Kaiser to pray for a young boy that developed an infection; they couldn't figure out what it was, only that he continued to get sicker. 12 year old boy was struck by a car. When we arrived at the hospital, they had just received the news of him not surviving, due to the brain injury. They went in right away to do an emergency drainage on the brain so they could do brain surgery- but it wasn't looking good. We walked in, prayed right away- the Lord came in so much power- so much peace on the parents. The boy stabilized. They were able to do surgery. We are continuing to pray for this boy, Tanner. John Richard had no voice - came in to his mommy, Christy at least 6 different times. Said, "Mom, pray for me & don't stop until I tell you to stop." He was dead serious. We prayed each time... in the morning, he woke up at least an hour before usual, which was too early, & was so excited, "Mom I got my voice back!" Which he did, completely!

Last Sunday night we headed out too minister at the Hispanic church in Orange. The Lord did some amazing things; blurred vision healed, headaches caused by eye problems healed; backs healed, legs grew; lots of emotional healing we could see was happening. One man, who was being a bit cynical had injured his back; and the Lord healed him while he was sitting there. The kids got to see & feel some legs grow and also some eyes get healed. Great time! ...
