We can barely keep up with all the food outreach thats taking place. it's causing such an excitement in those that are able to participate. Every time we think we wont have enough-- the Lord literally multiplies and gives the people just what they need! Be praying.. or come see things for yourself!

We're off & running with the Lakeview Outreach. This week when the team went back they remembered and were so glad to see us. We're taking bags of groceries and offering prayer. Each time we've gone the Lord has multiplied our food, and the incredible thing is... we've just had enough bags! Want to come? Let us know. For sure we can use food items that cannot perish.

We were able to talk to many people most said no, but not all. We did find several "Grandpa's". Jake had written down the words given at the offices so he was on the hunt for the "Grandpa" and "Little girl wearing purple". No grandpas wanted the prayer. Sometimes adults can be intimidating to young people for approaching so I encouraged them to look for kids there own age. Mike and I went with Mindy to Placentia -Ross. Mike found a man in his 80s (wearing a Navy cap) who he spent quite a while talking to and blessing....the man and his wife had just moved to an apartment in this area from another part of the state, and they know no-one. He and his wife were very skeptical of us at first, and we just tried to help them, and relate to them. Their faces reflected the tenseness, and fear of "anything new". He was in the Navy in ...

Today was so good. In driving on Lakeview here in Yorba Linda, I noticed how many men were waiting for work. Yesterday there had to be a few hundred. So today we took out 30 bags of groceries, but the amazing thing was when we went over there today, we had enough to give all the men a bag of food. We also got to pray for them! It was so good... Next Wednesday we will again go back... The Lord is showing us the need, and its been so fun 'getting to play.'
