Oh my gosh!  I can't even tell you how good God is!  My lawyer asked me to draft up a proposed schedule of visitation.  I was very fair and pretty much gave my ex-husband every holiday for 2009 and almost half of summer. My ex said that it was screwy and confusing, and he wanted to stick to the one that he proposed.  Yesterday I was so mad at him.  I couldn't understand his thinking.  I was being so super generous including nearly half of summer vacation.  It was mostly in his favor!  What more is he hoping for?  Then today at court my lawyer sat down with me to go over his proposed schedule, which was practically identical to what I proposed, only he was asking for 2 weeks in summer instead of two months.  That's what we ended up agreeing on.  I was sitting in court saying, "He's such an idiot!  I was offering 2 months and he settled for two weeks?  We could've agreed on this yesterday, and not paid $400 an hour to our lawyers, if he hadn't been so dang stubborn he would've seen that I was being generous.  Instead he just wanted HIS proposed document.  I was driving back home just laughing and thanking the Lord.  I totally had to repent for saying my ex is an idiot because it was God who allowed his mind to not "get" what I was saying, and it ended up in our favor!  Thank you Jesus.  His ways are so much higher than my ways.  Then the Lord was just showing me how he's used these 9 years of going to court to show me how much He is there for me. You know, I've never "lost" a court date in 9 years?  That is so God!!!!!  Thank you so much for praying for me.  Oh...I wanted to tell you this too, I was sitting there feeling all nervous and this little lady came and sat by me and pulled out her bible and started reading.  I looked over her shoulder to see that it was the bible.  She was so full of peace I just felt peaceful.  Isn't that cute? He even covered me there!
