Sunrise Retirement Outreach

Every other week we go to Sunrise Retirement Home and worship those who reside with the Alzimers and Dementia ward. We are truly blessed with the life and joy each time we go. This past week Derek, Tim, Nikki and Kyden had an opportunity to be a part of this outreach. Kyden, who is 8 months old, stole the show once again. Everyone always loves seeing his sweet face. He brings so much joy to the patients and staff. Derek played guitar and Tim beat the drum while the voices of heors sang to our Lord.

Tim, who after several months of particiapting in this outreach, was remembered by a redisent named Chester. Chester is a World War II veteran and a former pastor. He brought Tim a gift which was a picture of his grandchild and his great great grandchild who resembled Tim. Chester was so happy to give Tim this picture. He is such a sweet man with such a caring heart.
