testimonies

March 18th 2008

Again, and again, we hear wonderful testimonies about what God is doing among us. Its so important that we are sharing these things with eachother, to be reflecting on and remembering and going after the things that God is sharing with us! It is a key to staying alive! 

One of the men in our church went to an A.A. meeting a few weeks ago, and saw a woman who was using a walker and special shoes for walking. He thought about all of the testimonies he's heard, and about the outreaches he heard our church has been doing, and thought maybe he should go and ask her if he could pray for her. He said he was so absolutely nervous, but stepped out anyways to ask. As he asked her, the woman looked at him a little funny, unsure of what to say, but eventually accepted the offer, and they prayed together in the meeting. He told us that he didnt even specifically pray for healing...he just prayed that the Lord would bless her life. The next week, he saw the woman without her walker, with her Nike shoes on, walking around totally normal. She approached him, very excited, and told him that God healed her! She said she was alone in her room laying down, when "a presence" (the Holy Spirit) came on her and her legs began getting very hot. She said she didnt know what it was, but she KNEW that God healed her. And since then she has been going to every person who knows her, and knows how he she used to be, and telling them without a doubt in her mind she was healed. Not that she just feels better, but that she is HEALED! All it took was one person stepping out, saying one "generic" prayer, and the Lord healed her. His desire is to heal, he just wants someone to step out and offer it to those around us! 

Another amazing testimony is one from the Womens Retreat we just went on in February. One of the women who came to the retreat, asked for prayer. She and her husband had been trying for years to get pregnant, but could not. Some of the women prayed for her healing, and we just found out that she's pregnant!!

March 4th 2008

Its been really exciting to see how much God is doing in each individual in our church. But one of the most encouraging parts, is what the Lord is doing among the children. Over the last year, the Lord has been taking our childrens ministry through an incredible growth and learning time. And surely enough, our children have grown in their walk with the Lord on such a grand scale, its amazing. The children have their own worship time on sunday mornings, and during those times, they now worship the Lord and know truly what it is that they are doing, worshipping with meaning and purpose. During their worship times, the children are dancing, singing, and getting words and pictures from the Lord. They also have their own ministry time and the words and pictures these kids are getting are incredible, and beyond their years, even speaking with an eloquence never heard from them before. They are laying hands on one another and being healed. One of the boys in the class prayed for a girls nose and after worship she let everyone know that she had no more pain in her nose. For children in 1st through 6th grade to be experiencing this much revelation and leading by their own examples is a testimony to how the Lord is moving on every generation, and using all to glorify Him.

January 1st 2008

As I reflected and sought the Lord for 2008 I believe one of the words I got was for us is to make Love our greatest contention for His Kingdom, His will and our personal Holiness. I believe The Lord is saying as we trust Him in all things and seek His kingdom first His heart is for us to do it with a greater measure of purposeful love, chosen love and deliberate love for one another then we have lived in the past. I saw the word R I S K spelled R einvest I n my S overign K ingdom

 

I specifically heard seek personal Holiness by empting yourselves of everything. There you will find me in the Hidden things which Hide no longer!

December 28, 2007
The time of the north winds has come. The winnowing fork of the Lord is passing through this nation. He is separating the chaff from the core of the weatherd. This will happen for a time and half-a-time when the outer wrapping of the world is being removed from the kernels of the chosen. The Holy Spirit will be the protection in place of the temporal sheathing around the core. The effect of the world's influence will be diminished as the Spirit peals away useless layers.

Be always ready to submit to the refining work of the Master of the Harvest. In His hands, we will be cured and brought to new life. The fire of His Spirit will burn away the old ways and seal His work inside each one of His people. Prepare your hearts for yielding to the rush of this Spirit. The winds of the Holy Spirit will blow where He wills.

"It's time for a new wardrobe. I am handing out new mantles of authority, leadership and miracles. They aren't nearly as comfortable as the old ones and even don't seem to fit that well. They seem too big, but I am going to beef you up a little. I am putting you in places to exercise your gifts of faith, your gifts of healing, your gifts of prophecy, your gifts of teaching and your gifts of worship. Here's the deal, I have already given you these and I will grow you into them. They will become a perfect fit. I will fill the new wineskins. "

Today we were filled with many great words from the Lord. He is clearly using more of us each week to give us His guidance…everyone uniquely gifted by Him.

 

  • We were shown that, by His grace, we are released to be intimately bonded to Him.
  • He also encouraged us to leave our unwanted "baggage" behind and move ahead with Him.
  • He gave another beautiful image of being in His presence.
  • That we are His favored children and He will be with us as we take steps of faith.
  • He promised to wrap us in a garment of Grace that gives us freedom to meet Him without being afraid.
  • And He sent a reminder from the scripture that His "mercies are new every morning" Lam: 3:23.
  • In short, He said "Grace, Grace, Grace"

November 11
Today was a day of celebration. Watching our young church, just over a year now grow with so many new people has been amazing to watch. One of the greatest things unfolding is how many worship leaders our church is gathering. We love the fact that so many have been learning, or picking their instruments up for the first time in years. From our small beginnings from having a few willing worship people- to now 8 worship leaders that we are enfolding into different areas in our church. Amazing when people step out and take a chance- going after the desires in their heart to serve-how God is using them in a mighty way, not only for our church family, but also in our surrounding communities. Today, we ordained Scott Miller. Scott has been leading pastorally in our church really since it began, so today was a day of celebration, blessing Scott & Debbie, and investing in what God is bringing to our church. The people cheered- it was an incredible morning of the Lord once again visiting us in power!

Great Young Adult Testimony!
It's amazing - when our church started we had only 1 young adult - then 2-in fact we had 2 for most of the year. We have been praying for God to move in this area - these 2 young adults began getting vision from the Lord about starting a group - so together we prayed about how it would look - the first week there were 12 young adults - some unsaved, many not filled with the Holy Spirit---yet. This last week - there were over 20! The Lord is coming in so much power in a way where you can see the hunger on their faces. It's amazing that even those that aren't saved yet are coming back- and not only that-they're beginning to pray for each other! We know this is just the beginning!

November 4
Today we had the Nicholson- who pastor a Vineyard in the Chicago area come be with us- Steve spoke, and the Lord really stirred some people regarding prayer. One of the things we value and will continue to value in our church is having people outside of our community come to share and speak into us as a church. After that Christy took some of the leadership team to a conference up to Redding, Ca for a conference. It was good for those that had never been before; it spoke to us again, reminding us of what were after; the mission God is calling us into.

October 19th
Baptism- Another wonderful night of food, worship and baptizing those new to the Lord, and those that have recently rededicating themselves. Over 60 people came, family and friends of those being baptized-it was an amazing time! The Lord came in so much power, that again it was hard to stand in the water.

October 11-14
Gary & Joy Best from Canada were here with us. We had some great things happen from our leadership meetings as well at church on the Sunday. On Sunday, Gary led a time of believing in people, seeing people the way God does. We then did a powerful time of taking people and having various people within the church give them encouraging, prophetic words. It was a great time, many people were blessed! One of the great things was too see how the majority of the church got up and ministered to someone-the church 'doin the stuff!'

Amazing Testimony
When the church started, we only had a few people that could participate in leading the church in worship. Over this last year we now have 8 different worship leaders leading at various groups during the week. But another wonderful thing that God is doing is that he's been giving songs to some of the worship leaders! Signs follow us, and one of the signs we know God is moving amongst us is that the songs follow. It's happening and it's been a great blessing to our church!

October 8
We are beginning to see more salvations-in fact we ran out of bibles a few weeks ago as we give them out to new believers. Great thing, is that we almost ran out of Spanish bibles too! We also had a friend of ours, Kathie Walters come minister last Thursday night- the room was packed, and the people were ready to receive. She had some amazing words over people that brought a lot of freedom. But one of the greatest things to see was how excited all the people were to see the others around them receive prayer and breakthrough.

September 23
Our 1 year anniversary! We had an amazing time! It's hard to believe that it's been a year since we began this whole journey, but more than that, just to look back & see all God has done has been amazing to share in! We put together our handout, from September 06- September 07, and everything that's happened among us this last year.

Florida Ministry Trip- Sept. 7-9
Christy took a few of the young adult girls to do a conference/retreat in Ft. Myers. During the course of the weekend, lots of healings took place-esophigal spasms gone, neck pain gone, shoulder pain gone-- backs were healed, legs grew out; headaches gone, lots of power--- then we ministered at the Ft. Myers Vineyard in the morning, and Cape Coral Vineyard at night. The morning service, the young girls had some amazing words for the people, and the Holy Spirit gave an invitation to do whatever it takes to go after God! During the evening service, when Christy was teaching, lightening hit, the power went out, and again the lord came in lots of power-lots of healings too place, most all answered the call to be the one person to take their cities back for God!

September 2nd Church Service-During church in the morning, the Holy Spirit fell in so much power! An earthquake shook our building a few times and in the midst of it, following- 2 people were saved, and worship broke out! All we did was spend the time worshipping; praying for each other , and taking communion together--- it was an amazing 2 ½ hour service that could have just kept going!

Baptism Update!
Our baptism last Friday night [24th] was amazing! We had 43 people come, 8 people got baptized. One kid got saved; we then baptized him right away! It was so powerful, all the family & friends coming to celebrate together. It was amazing to see Gods presence- literally move us around in the water while we baptized---hard to stand at times! We ate great BBQ- worshipped around the pool and the Lord was so present among us!

August 26
during morning church the Lord began to heal many. We prayed for the renewing of our minds, and the power of God came & delivered as we worshipped & prayed for each other. We prayed for healing for stomach & eye condition, but one of the sweetest things that took place was to see the peace of God rest on people. New people getting ministry for the first time never gets old to watch!

Word's that Came
I saw a fire ball (like a meteorite or something) blazing down, and it came from heaven. It was the power of God. It came to just in front of the stage in the center, but it stopped outside on the roof area. It just hovered there. It was waiting to come in. It waited for desperate cries to the Lord.

Patty later told me that she saw a Lion standing outside of the front doors. The lion didn't come in. Instead it said, "I stand at the door and knock."

Update on Tanner
12 year old boy- struck by car. Christy went w/Rosanna to see Tanner & his mom, as he is now at home. He walked in the room, which in itself is amazing; and the back of his skull has healed on its own. Needs quick healing for his speech, and movement, but he comprehends ---which is amazing! Neurologist calls him the miracle boy!

Healing of the Brain
At a business meeting the last weekend, one of the ladies said she was seeing spots, and was told she had some spots on her brain. They asked to pray for her [Catholic girl]; she was surprised, but let them. A few days later got a call that her eye had cleared up and the doctors couldn't find any more spots!

JULY 29 2007 AT THE YL VINEYARD MORNING SERVICE AS THE HOLY SPIRIT FELL.
I HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR A LONG TIME I HAVE BEEN CALLING THE CHILDREN AND THEY ARE COMING FROM THE EAST AND THE WEST AND FROM THE NORTH AND THE SOUTH AND NOTHING WILL STOP THEM WHO CAN REVERSE IT WHEN I ACT IAM PUTTING MY SIGNET RING ON THE LITTLE ONES I HAVE SAID FOR A LONG TIME A CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM AND THEY WILL BE ROAD WARRIORS FOR ME AND MY PRESENCE WILL GO IN FRONT OF THEM AND OVER THEM AND UNDER THEM AND BEHIND. MY WARRIOR ANGELS WILL BE WITH THEM ALSO. I MY SELF WILL SHOD THERE FEET WITH THE PREPARTION OF THE GOSPEL AND THEY WILL HAVE MY BREAST PLATE OF RIGHTOUSNESS AND THE HELMET OF SALVATION AND WILL SWING MY SWORD OF THE SPIRIT MIGHTILY. MY PRESENCE WILL BE ON THEM. SOON MANY WILL BE COMING IN MY POWER AND MY VICTORY WILL BE ON THEM. ALL OF YOU TODAY ARE WELCOME TO COME ALSO. I HAD BEEN READING IN ISAIAH 43CHAPTER. [Word from July 29 Sunday night prayer & outreach]
I saw from a bird's eye view that you were leading us up this mountain. I couldn't see who was who but I knew you were leading us up this mountain. This mountain had a pole with a flag on it. I couldn't really make out the flag real clear but I believe it was white (maybe for surrender). The funny thing about this occupation that we were engaging on the mountain is that there was no enemy was on it. It was empty. We just overtook with ease. We just covered it like ants. The mountain wasn't even high for us. We just covered it, possessed the mountain and reigned on it from high.

First week of June
Patty had shared that Dustin had collided with another boy at school, broke his nose. Met him at the hospital, she prayed, nothing happened. Prayed again, and each time the pain left more, and the nose straightened out! Then they went to another doctor appointment, was sharing with the doctor what had happened, the doctor said she had been bitten by a spider, went to another doctor earlier that day; she asked them to pray for her. They prayed, the color came back to the area, weird coloring & swelling left!

End of June
Youth attended youth conference in Laguna- said on the outreach people get healed & many were saved out in the streets & on the soccer fields—where some of the different groups did outreach.

Update on Tanner
[boy struck by car] He went home this past week. Doctors say his brain swelling/bruising, needs to continue to heal. We need to ask the Lord to heal Tanner’s brain completely so he can resume regular school by September.

July 18-Lady got prayed for- had breast cancer
- when they went in to operate; they found no cancer!

July 15- YLV outreach
We headed to our new YLV offices to hold worship & prayer time for our first outreach. Feels right in the church office/meeting place; the Lord’s presence was strong. We broke into teams of 4 before we hit Walmart.

[1] knee healed- felt heavy & pain before [2] prayed for blind eye, guy didn’t see, but kept referring too that he felt the love [3] prayed for couple of girls that said they felt peace- lots of testimonies of people being prayed for, and feeling Gods presence. This was a fruitful outreach of blessing people in the communities.

Arizona Ministry Trip
Christy along with a few women flew out to Arizona to do a women's retreat with the Prescott Vineyard. Good time. The first night, we saw some backs healed, legs grew. Also a lady from another church visiting with neck problems, couldn't really turn her neck from an accident, healed. 2 ladies with spinal arthritis, healed. One had been in pain for over 20 years; was excited since she slept good that night, woke up with no pain. Tracy did worship- first time for an event- the Lord really came- worth it al!

June 10
First YLV children's dedications! What a great morning we had- what a great time meeting the various family& friends that visited. One family, where many of the family members are mostly Catholic came for the first time, many received prayer. When the daughter went to drop off the parents at the Catholic church, the father, which she said is very uncommon, said that he felt God already and didn't need to go to church again! He also said he felt the love at the church! Also the parents of 2 kids that were dedicated flew back to the East, looked up another Vineyard, took his wife & mom- they loved it! Great family testimony that still unfolding!

June 17
We're seeing some great breakthrough in healing! We're going after more! Week before one of the women at church prayed for a man, encouraged him to pray for the sick. That week, he prayed for his father n law that had a 10 pound mass on his side. Admitted to the hospital, they prayed for him. Said they had to drain something else in his body- made the 10 pound mass shrink all the way down- doctors still don't get it- don't know what happened!

The last few weeks at church we've had some amazing prophetic words.

[1] I saw the Lord as a King. He had a huge crown on his head, and a thick robe resting on his shoulders. He was smiling and confident. Then just below his feet was a city. It looked old like bible times (clay and mud-type houses and buildings, dirt ground). The city kind of morphed and developed into a modern city with lights, but it still looked old. The city was next to a body of water and a peninsula to the right of the city; then the city looked torn like a piece of paper. I saw it in three different scenes like that. I asked the Lord how to say what I saw and I felt like He said to say it in the order that I saw it. I am not sure what the peninsula was, but I saw it there very clearly.

"Though the ocean is separated by the land, and the city is divided, just as in times of old God is the God of Gods and the King of all Kings. He is in control, and He is over it all."

[2] I see you in a corner with your legs crossed, hunched over thinking no one understands what you're going through. You feel lonely and at times like giving up. I stand before you. Hold my hand and I will help you stand up straight. Don't give up. For years I never gave up on you,

[3]Many years ago I chose Moses to come up to the mountain. When he came up he felt my presence, he felt my power and he heard my voice. I've chosen you amongst thousands to come up the mountain. If you do not, you will miss out on feeling my presence, you will miss out on feeling my power and most important you will miss hearing my voice.

For our Church- reminded again of [3] things in the last week [1] Isaiah 58- Mission of our Church - Lord has given this to us on [4] different occasions; from different sources. [2] Right before the church was launched back in Sept 06, Lord gave us Deut. 6:23 & again this week. "He brought us out from there to bring us in and give us the land that he promised an oath to our forefathers." Also Deut. 7:7-9. We believe these are words/promises from the Lord to us & we want to pray them in!

More & more I am hearing stories from many of you stepping out & ministering to those you come in contact with throughout the weeks. In the stores, at restaurants, family gatherings; great testimonies of 'risk taking' & reaching out to those in our communities.
Keep it up-it's what were after-giving people an encounter with the living God!

Update on Tanner - The 12 year old boy who was struck by a car is now up & responding some. He of course is a miracle! We need to continue to pray for recovery and also for the family as it's been many weeks and of course they are worn down. Please also pray that God provides for them during this time.

May 27
More healing took place this morning--- Lord delivered some people from fear- those really bound & full of fear- the Lord ministered to them, restored sleep patterns in some!

May 27
Night Outreach- After prayer & worship we broke up into teams & headed to Wal-Mart. Great stories of impact this night. This was one of those times, where most all the people said yes to prayer----

[1] One of the boys saw a man by a box. We turned around and found him. We asked if we could pray for him, and the man said yes!! I just need some peace... I just want to be happy... was his prayer request..... Standing next to him was a lady (girlfriend/wife) she interrupts and said yes! I just got fired from my job, so I got mad at them and quit, and now I may not get unemployment money... Jesus met both of them, and we had a word for the lady, and it was the best prayer time of the evening.....

[2]We prayed for a young worker whose brother is on trial for murder. When we approached her and asked her if there was anything we could pray for her, she replied with a very enthusiastic YES! - Then went on to tell us about her brother.

[3]We saw a little boy around 6 whose wrist was in a cast. When we approached him and his family, the mom didn't speak English. There was an older brother around 12 who spoke English. After telling the mother who we were and that we wanted to pray for the little boy's wrist (the brother translated), she agreed. We prayed for him and he told us he felt better. So sweet!

[4]We asked a young woman if she needed prayer and she said that she definitely could use some for her boyfriend who is getting deployed to Iraq next week. When we asked her if he was with her, she began to whisper, telling us yes, but he's agnostic, and wouldn't want us to pray for him. As she's whispering this, he's calling to her from the next isle over! We encouraged her to let us try to talk to him. When he came over, we explained who we were and he let us pray for him!

[5]We prayed for 4 other people, one dad whose kids were at the river-for protection, a woman who wanted prayer for her kids and a raise at work, and two other women for blessing.

[6] Our group went out & prayed for a lady who just had knee surgery- she said she felt a 'good sensation' go throughout her whole body

[7] then we prayed for a lady who had pain all down her back- we prayed & all the pain left her back!

May 20
We shared before how more & more physical healing has been taking place on Sunday mornings. We actually see more things happen out in the streets then at church-that sure says something! God honors when we risk! But this Sunday, ladies broken leg, her knee popped back into place-headache gone- God did some wonderful emotional healing this Sunday morning.

We also started our Sunday night service- great time, around 25 of us gathered, worshipped & prayed for 2 ½ hours- a lot of empowering took place & then we sent out 4 teams to Wal-Mart-----

[1] My mom and I went to Wal-Mart last night. On our way to our car before two men who worked at furniture store gave us about 30 balloons. We gave them out at Walmart.The kids loved it and so did the parents. We asked a man who was with his son if we could pray for him. He said yes and wanted us to pray for his whole family. He had an injured back so we prayed for that and then we prayed for his family. They were so thankful. After that, we prayed for two more ladies. They both received it very well. When we left we saw a homeless lady and her husband. We prayed for them and gave them money for gas. God is good! [2] One lady was there shopping for her daughter that was moving down here for College. Eventually we met up with a young lady that kept popping up..... Come to find out she was the daughter that the one mother was shopping for..... God met both of them....... how sweet.

May 10
This week we had our US National Vineyard conference to where we invited some of our pastor friends throughout the country for good southern BBQ. It was a great time to see everyone, but also we took a bit of time and some of the kids and others prayed for various leaders. It was a great time, many were touched, and I've just gotten neat feedback about those that were ministered too, were really encouraged….It's so important that we minister to our extended church family.

April 28
Darcie took some of the kids down to Kaiser to pray for a young boy that developed an infection; they couldn't figure out what it was, only that he continued to get sicker. They decided the next day if he didn't get better; they would take a CAT scan, do surgery. They prayed on Saturday; he was released on Sunday!

April 27-29 -Toledo, Ohio
Christy, along with Mark Molenaar & Scott Miller headed out to the Toledo Vineyard to lead a conference on the Kingdom of God. It was held at a great Lutheran Church led by some wonderful people. There were lots of miraculous healings: herniated disk in the neck healed; knee that wouldn't bend- healed; Migraines healed; Backs, hips put back in alignment; legs grew; Parkinson's healed; lady with over a month long illness; doctors couldn't find out what was wrong- healed. Tumor in the eye- shrunk- heel healed. One man heard from his son that people's backs were getting healed @ this conference. His trainer told him his leg was shorter then the other, causing the pain-he came to the church the next morning- just to get healed--- which he did. Then we prayed for him to encounter the Lord--- great time! One of the best things that took place was ministering to the kids; the kids got ministry-then turned around & ministered to the sick around them.

April 24
12 year old boy was struck by a car. When we arrived at the hospital, they had just received the news of him not surviving, due to the brain injury. They went in right away to do an emergency drainage on the brain so they could do brain surgery- but it wasn't looking good. We walked in, prayed right away- the Lord came in so much power- so much peace on the parents. The boy stabilized. They were able to do surgery. We are continuing to pray for this boy, Tanner. Continue to pray & fight for this boy's life. Every time we go to pray the Lord comes; ministers not only healing to the boy, but also to the whole family. Please continue to pray.

April 22
We're starting to see more & more break through in healing at church. We see a lot outside during the week; but we've been asking for more to take place when we gather Sundays. Knee healed- pain gone, she felt it pop; bronchial sickness healed; headache's healed. Lump gone- disappeared.

4-15-2007 - Kids Group at YLV
Boy's nose that was all congested....cleared right up. Little Haley, 3 years old, said her lip really hurt- the kids gathered around her..prayed & prayed, the 4th time, they finally asked her again if she was alright and she said, "It's all better now." The kids were so excited & thanks Jesus together!

4-14-2007 - Outreach in Yorba Linda w/La Hermosa Church
We started out praying for each other @ the Wimbers. The Lord came in so much power; all the teenagers were laid out, and the Lord came in much power on us! We then left to take Yorba Linda; into [6] groups. The first door people walked up too, the two people inside got saved! One lady following asked the group that came to her door to please come in. They prayed for her, then she turned & prayed for them! Lady w/hernia, all the pain left. Prayed for several families that were very ill. At this outreach, we were able to reach 3 different apartment complexes! The Lord really blessed many people! Expecially the teams that were able to go out & pray. Christy said she couldn't believe the teenagers that were literally running toward the library to the older people, believing they must have something that needed to be healed...so much faith in them to see God move!

4-13-2007
Susan had surgery - Heather went to pray for her, which by the way, Heathers little daughter, who has scary night dreams, which torment her; has had only 1 since we prayed for her over 5 weeks ago. So Heather prayed for Susan, who was in a lot of pain...immediately the pain left her body----this is the second time Susan has been in a lot of pain, where the Lord came, & gave her immediate relief!

4-8-2007
John Richard had no voice - came in to his mommy, Christy at least 6 different times. Said, "Mom, pray for me & don't stop until I tell you to stop." He was dead serious. We prayed each time... in the morning, he woke up at least an hour before usual, which was too early, & was so excited, "Mom I got my voice back!" Which he did, completely!

3-31-2007 Church Outreach [La Hermana]
Last Sunday night we headed out too minister at the Hispanic church in Orange. The Lord did some amazing things; blurred vision healed, headaches caused by eye problems healed; backs healed, legs grew; lots of emotional healing we could see was happening. One man, who was being a bit cynical had injured his back; and the Lord healed him while he was sitting there. The kids got to see & feel some legs grow and also some eyes get healed. Great time!
