Junior High
At the YLV we believe in our kids learning how to be Kingdom kids from early on in life! In the Jr. High we want the youth to love church and understand the importance of loving and learning how to have their own walk with Christ. Pastors Rick & Christine Sexton are the pastoral oversight to this age group.
Sundays
Drop your Jr Highers off in the Youth Building, located next door to the main building, on Sunday Mornings before you go into church and don't forget to pick them up after!
We require our Jr Higher's to be signed in and out by their parent or guardian for safety purposes.

April 10th was pretty awesome! We played flag basketball in the dark, with barriers and glow sticks. We might have made it up, and it might be too complicated to explain! Jeremiah won chubby bunny with his 20+ bunny marshmellows. John came up with his own came that we played after. Andrew shared the Word, and while it was short it was powerful. Don't miss out on the next Youth Tuesday in May!!
May 8th consisted of Jumbo Marshmallow Dodgeball, a Donut Eating Race with the donut being fed by one youth to another on a string hung from a stick and an Oreo Face Race. Andrew brought the Word again and some of the youth shared what it meant to them. Jeremiah won himself another prize! Don't miss June 12th!
Airsoft

Successful April 21st Airsoft! All had fun, some new kids learned how to play, and no one was injured! We changed it up and played indoors. We weren't sure how it'd turn out, I mean it almost sounds dangerous. But with some creativity it was better than we had hope! Our Jr Highers loved it so much that they have requested we do it indoors again next time. If it keeps growning we will have to make this a montly event!
