outreach
Outreach is an important ministry at the YLV. We believe that in order for the church to be 'healthy' we must have the Kingdom principle of always including others into what God is doing among us. Each month, we have various outreaches that take place. One of our favorite outreaches is when we gather, pray for each other (which usually lasts a few hours!) and then head out to various shopping centers--We then break into teams, asking if we can pray & minister to them.
We have seen physical, emotional and healings take place, as well as salvation's. It's the kingdom of God at work!
NEW! Elderly Outreach - Tuesday mornings
Starting January 13, we will be ministering to the Elderly at Sunrise Senior Living Center in Yorba Linda. Would you like to participate? We could use some help, so let us know and we'll send you the information.
NEW! Gas Station Outreach - Mondays
10am-12pm every Monday with Kelly Darrah. We pray and worship at the Super 8 gas station on Commonwealth Ave. in Fullerton (between Basque and Euclid Ave.).
Orange County Jail Ministry- We had our meeting with the head person that oversee's all of Orange County jail's and it went amazing! We have 14 people waiting for approval; and we should hear back in the next few weeks. We will have access to all 5 jails, which is what we're most excited about. Being able to break into teams, and minister through out the system to the various people is what we're most looking forward too.

Bag of Hope- Went from feeding 25- over 200 in just a month and half. LA Area- These are amazing. The last few outreaches God's been multiplying the food! Awesome time!

Bag it Party- Prior to each Bag of Hope outreach- we gather to prepare for the next outreach. Each outreach is prayed for; food preparation, and set up through prayer, planning and blessing. The way the team takes each step into preparing is such a treasure!
NEW! Drive Thru Ministry- The effects of the economy are hitting people in all different walks of life. If you or anyone you know is in need of a little extra help, then come join us every 4th sunday of the month at the YLV Offices. We will be passing out a free months supply of misc food supplies. Spread the word so that people will not go without!
