Outreach is an important ministry at the YLV. Under our YLV Resource Center

We have new classes and power evangelism outreaches as well as servant evangelism outreaches. 

The Warehouse is under YLV Resource and is set up for food outreach in various ways. We believe that in order for the church to be 'healthy' we must have the Kingdom principle of including others into what God is doing among us. Each month, we have various outreaches that take place and you're welcome to come participate. You don't have to belong to the YLV to participate, in fact we love the community participating!

Each time we head out we see physical and emotional healings take place, as well as salvations. It's the kingdom of God at work!

YLVRC Medical Clinic

Work will begin on the Medical Clinic coming May. We have passed for our permits for the City, which took a bit of time, but all is well and were planning to get this going later this month. This will be a free service to those in our communities for medical care. We have had over 100,000 worth of medical equipment given to us and we're all set to go!

Business Complex Taco Outreach

3rd Friday of the Month--We're making amazing tacos for those in our complex. We decided this is a practical way to get to know those right next to us! Great time from 12-130p

YLV Bread Outreach- The Bread Box

Fridays- 8:30a-We get the overage of Panera Bread, as well as a handful of places that donate for giveaway. We take to various locations every Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Then Friday mornings we bag and separate as the bread is now distributed to many different locations as well. We could use more help in separating and organizing the bread... it's not just a practical way to serve, but lots of fun as well! 

Leaders: This is a whole team that meets every Friday morning.

Women's Shelter-His House

This is an amazing outreach! We love it! Such a great opportunity-When we go we give free haircuts and manicures & pedicures and just hang out to get to know the people.. We also take food & snacks for the kids.. We head out every 8 weeks and you're welcome to come check it out.

Sunrise Retirement Outreach 

Monday's 2nd & 4th of each month

This has been great! We really love to do Outreach at the local Retirement Centers. We usually find there are many that have no visitors, just what we do is we do a bit of worship, hang out & pray for people. We minister twice a month at Sunrise Center in Yorba Linda. Bag of Hope- LA
Takes place once a month. We take the prepared lunches and hand out in the LA area. Went from feeding around 20 to now 300-500 each trip. Awesome time of ministry!

Bag it Party!
The week prior we do the Bag it Party to prepare the lunches for the following weekend. If you're unable to head out to the outreach, this is the perfect opportunity to still participate! We prepare and pray over every lunch.

Lakeview Food Outreach
Takes place Wednesday mornings. There are many men that wait for work off Lakeview; so its become the perfect opportunity to meet a need that God revealed to us. We meet at the YLV offices at 9:00a, bag some groceries to give them all away. We also minister to the men at this outreach as well.

7-11 Food Giveaway
Each day at noon we get the 'overage' at 7-11. We get bags of sandwiches, etc which is given away everyday. We need some help with this outreach since its everyday. You can get the food and take it to the various places you may know is in need. We have several different places the food has been going too.

Placentia Food Outreach
This is such a fun outreach! Once a month after AM church we meet at the YLV offices to bag groceries. We then head out to some residential areas where we parade down the street with the back of the cars open-- we drive slowly, offering groceries and prayer. This is very fun for the kids to participate as well!

What’s Coming.... Placentia Park Party!
This will be our first park party in Placentia where we’ve been handing out food this last year. This will be a time of worship, handing out food, face painting & games for the kids! Got Ideas? Come to the next Outreach meeting, September 23 at 7p at the YLV offices. 

BBQ in the Park- Placentia- Every last Sunday of the Month

Free BBQ & handing out of groceries. We have gone to this location for the last 3 years doing various forms of outreach. We have decided to begin going monthly again offering lunch as well as food in other forms.. If you want to go its a great way to connect with people. We're also looking for people that speak Spanish so if you do--

YLV OUTREACH CLASSES- GROUPS

Self-Defense Classes- Wednesday's

We have a new class beginning first Wednesday of October. Cost is $25 and runs for 6 weeks. This is great to have your self prepared and equipped... just in case, but it also keeps you in shape!

Elderly Care Support Group

Are you caring for someone of the older generation? This support group has amazing resource and is a great help to those caring for others. There are many things when one is caring for someone who is older or needs 'extra' help & support, this group will not only encourage you, but can also give you some helpful information in caring for others. This meets the 3rd Sunday of each month at 12 noon.
